LNGC Piling – Survey Contractor

Client: Soletanche Bachy Canada

Inline Group is currently working as a survey contractor for SB Canada during their work of installing piles for the new LNGC facilities in Kitimat, BC. While laying out the hundreds of piles, our surveyors are also responsible for processing daily asbuilts, continuously monitoring pile heave/settlement activity and providing placements for cranes throughout construction.

Our capabilities with aerial mapping are being relied upon during the project as our fully certified surveyors continuously use drones to aid with site mapping, monitoring and crane maintenance inspections.

Project Details

Once complete, LNG Canada will turn Canadian natural gas into its liquid form, reducing its volume 600-fold and then transport it to markets across the globe. This will put Canada on the global map of LNG exporting countries and create a world-class liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry in British Columbia and Canada. Natural gas is recognized as affordable and clean burning, as well as safe to store and transport.
